T & C's Hot Tubs

​

  1. Do not allow young children in the tub unsupervised.

  2. Do not have any electrical objects near the hot tub.

  3. Do not consume alcohol whilst using the hot tub.

  4. Do not use the hot tub whilst under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol.

  5. Do not smoke in or near the hot tub.

  6. Do not use glasses of any description in the hot tub. Plastic glasses are suitable.

  7. Do not put naked flames/candles near the hot tub.

  8. Do not use the hot tub if you have an infectious disease.

  9. Do not enter the hot tub with clothes on, only wear suitable swimming attire.

  10. Do not enter the hot tub with footwear on or any other sharp objects.

  11. Do not allow animals near the hot tub.

  12. Do not dive or jump into the hot tub.

  13. Avoid sitting on the sides of the hot tub.

  14. Do not sit on the hot tub cover.

  15. Do not stand, sit or place anything on the motor housing.

  16. Do not use the hot tub if pregnant without first having consulted your doctor for advice.

  17. Do not use the hot tub after strenuous exercise.

  18. Do not turn the hot tub off overnight; Only turn the hot tub off to clean the filter once a day.

  19. Do not under any circumstances try to move the hot tub once installed.

  20. Do not empty the hot tub to clean unless we have agreed.

  21. Do not drain down the hot tub at all unless you have spoken to us and we have agreed.

  22. Do not remove the filter cover (apart from to clean), this is to prevent risk of injury to body and/or hair entrapment.

  23. Do not operate your spa if the filter cover is broken or missing.

  24. Do not run the lay-z-spa Hydro Jets whilst the cover is on as this may cause a vacuum.

  25. Do not use your spa alone.

  26. Do shower before entering the hot tub.

  27. Do put something down to wash or wipe your feet on before entering the hot tub.

  28. Do clean the filters as instructed.

  29. Do keep the water level topped up as instructed. Do not allow the water level to drop below the top of the filter.

  30. Do add chemicals as instructed. (sheet given at delivery)

  31. Do keep the thermal cover on with all clips clipped together when the hot tub is not in use.

  32. Do put step/lounger up on top of the hot tub when not in use if you have young children around.

Other things you need to know:

  1. The hot tub hire company will not be held responsible for any damage, injuries or death resulting from the misuse of our hot tubs. We will also not be held responsible for any damage caused by the hot tub to lawns, patios or decking or any water damage to anything whatsoever. It is your responsibility to make sure nothing gets damaged. We can advise you on any possible problems that could arise but most of it is just common sense.

  2. You must exercise caution to prevent unauthorised access to your spa. Ensure your spa cover is securely fastened when spa is not in use.

  3. Once the hot tub is full remove the hose.

  4. Any damage caused to the hot tub will need to be paid for and if your deposit does not cover the replacement of the part cost and you do not willingly pay for it then we will pursue a claim in the small claims court.

  5. No more than 6 adults in the hot tub at any one time.

  6. Limit the time spent when using your spa since long exposures at warm temperatures can cause high body temperature. Symptoms may include dizziness, nausea, fainting, drowsiness, and reduced awareness, resulting in possible drowning. Prolonged immersion in a spa may be hazardous to your health.

  7. Spa water temperature should never exceed 40°C (104°F).

  8. Temperatures between 38°C (100°F) and 40°C (104°F) are considered safe for healthy adults for up to twenty minutes. For young children, lower water temperatures are recommended. Check with your doctor.

  9. Consult your physician before using your spa, especially if you suffer from heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, a condition needing medical treatment, pregnant women, infants or the elderly.

  10. You will be shown how to maintain the water and keep it clear for pleasant bathing. If you do not follow our instructions and the water becomes dirty which in turn clogs up the heater pump then we will not be held responsible for the hot tub cutting out and not working correctly. If we are available and only if we are available we will come out to fix such issues at a fixed call out cost of £50 to you the customer.

  11. Please take care of all accessories hired with the Spa to ensure they do not get damaged.
